Its been a very nice and welcome break to have a day off today, I feel like, even though I went on holiday last week and that was enjoyable I havent fully rested for about a month now.
I woke up at around 9 and watched some TV, had a shower, cleaned a little, put some clothes away, and finally went for a big Christmas shop at our local Tesco Superstore with my flat mate and talked about Christmas goings on, rest.
Also, been wading through the new music and have to say am captivated by "Avalanche" Outtakes and Extras from Sufjan Stevens Illinoise album, I think I like it already as much as the actual album! Cake – Comfort Eagle is also a brilliant album, the lyrics are incredible and as said before brilliant basslines!
We also decided since we’d neither of us (Fraser and I) been bothered to put up Christmas tree or decoration, that this year it was a no go. We’re both spending Christmas day out of the house, maybe we’re humbugs, but I favour us just being lazy post-students!
Another point of interest is that our house over the Christmas period will be adorned by the much sought after Nintendo Wii courtesy of Fraser’s brother who along with his parents will be with us over Christmas.
