Get on with the salesperson - Try and build a little rappor with the salesperson as that will help them to like you, and not a)want to rip you off and b)make them want to cut you a good deal (two in the same really!)
Be empowered by your consumer power! - Dont take anything as un-shiftable, there are countless companies out there looking for you to start a contract with or through them, so if your not happy and you havent signed anything, use your consumer power and say you’ll look around and might come back, dont feel obliged to the salesperson, but be pleasent to them, you might have to go back and ask for the deal you’ve just turned down.
