Byrnesys Blabberings

I arrived in the Shetland Isles last night, Im here to do some vessel audits and pipelie route inspections, but its also the fist time  have ever been up to these far northern Isles.

For any of you who dont know where it is go north from Scotland, and the first set of Islands north is Orkney (where Jane is from) and the second are the Shetlands roughly anoter 80 odd milesnorth I imagine. Weel Im no sure how much further north it is, but I can tellyou its aout 80 degrees colder up here, I am freezing!

I have taken some photos, but I havent charged my laptop so Im now running on"Very Low" warnings and thought I would write something and see if I can get the picture up later.

There is no wireless in our hotel so Im currently sitting outside of the tourist office with my laptop wobbling all over my leg (hence the probable typos). I imgaine this is the only wifi spot in shetland, and they dont even have a WEP code or a login, Im just sitting outside and connected right up!
