"The best thing about the future is that it comes only one day at a time." ~Abraham Lincoln
I have been thinking quite a bit about the future recently, which more than anything is probably a diagnosis of discomfort I have in the present. But this quote really encompassed what I felt about how we should live out our futures, and just a reminder that God has given us today, the things we will do today and that we should not idolise the things to come as if they are more significant than the ones things we encounter today. Thanks to Tarah for her myspace bulletin with this quote

Hey Liam,
the future’s bright, the future’s… erm well I don’t know what it is, not orange, but I know it’s bright!
I took the test thing about personalities - has really got me thinking! The prayer for me was
ENFJ: God help me to do only what I can and trust you for the rest. Do you mind putting that in writing?
This is very ME.
Anyway. The future. I am sorry that things are not working out like we all thought they might. It was lovely getting to know you more at Fraser and Jane’s wedding. Seeing everyone together made it even more frustrating! Who knows when we will all be together again?!
I would love to have you and Rachel over to the flat (in Turriff) sometime for tea and laughs. I have discovered over the holidays, that I have missed being around people - how dumb is that?!
