I laughed a little when reading Scot McKnights stories of preparing "candy" for the kids for halloween, I live in a pretty rough and industrial area of town so the likelihood of any parent letting their kid walk down my street nevermind knock on my door is out of the questions.

Long story short, no buying sweets for kids, at least Ive the escaped one holiday plagued by consumerism, now to start my Christmas list!
