Byrnesys Blabberings

I arrived in oslo last night, with great first impressions, oslo airport is brilliant, apart from the long walk in between passport control and baggage reclaim.

After the airport I encountered anot her triumph of norweigen travel - the trains! Not onlu do they look super cool (check out flickr.com/byrnesy for more photos taken on my blackberry infact I am blogging via email via my blackberry right now, the wonders of technology!)

After our trains ride a five minuite walk took us to the hotel which we exitted as soon as we’d checked in and dropped our stuff at to get something to eat. 2 hours later (at about 11) we headed back for 5 hours of very poor sleep (and in one of my colleagues case, no sleep at all) the aftermath of which I documented by snapping shots of me stumbling around my hotel room at 630.

Fortunatly the meetings for today are all but over, barr an informal dinner meeting and then an early night before a 5am start for our 8am flight from oslo to bergen. Things have gone well, but have been busy. In my role as chief organiser I have relied heavily and been EXTREMELY thankful for the GPS My Location function and subsequent point to point directions from google maps.

Below (or at the top depending on how wmailing a blog works) should be the view from my hotel room which I felt was suitably norweigen. Ill try and blog again tomorrow if this email works!
