Byrnesys Blabberings

I paid the very definition of a flying visit to Bergen, in from Oslo in the moring an out to Stavanger in the evening, had one very good meeting and one OK meeting. Above is a picture of Bryggen an older part of Bergen at the only time I saw the sun come out all day which really picked up the colours of these great norweigen buildings up.

If nothing else Ive discovered the blackberry isnt the greatest photo taker in the world especially in cloudier settings, and dont count on any wifi partners from the UK wifi networks existing in Norway, though there are plenty of very expensive (when taking UK GBP conversion into account) wifi spots.

Everything is so unbelievably expensive here, I paid £1.90 for a packet of crisps today, and the small glass of sorbet I had for dessert this evening cost the equivilent of £9!

More tommorrow, I was up at 5am for the flight this morning which for my body-clock was 4am and now its 11:30pm. More of a lie in tomorrow though, no meetings til 10:30. More photos on flickr.com/byrnesy but havent made a set yet so just checkout the photostream.
