Some of you may have picked up that I am selling my house that I bought only a year ago in Fraserburgh.
There are many reasons for the move but for the most part, I work in Aberdeen, Rachel is moving to Aberdeen, therefore I am moving to Aberdeen.

For those perplexed by the scottish system of selling houses (me too!), basically the idea is that it is an auction and so offers over indicates the very bottom of where you bid. And before any of support-based missionary friends decide to hit me up for some cash, then the majority (and I mean the majority) of the proceeds of the sale are going straight back to the bank as Ive only had the house for a year of mortgage payements which surmounts to paying off some interest and thats it! OH well, at least I wasn’t paying the money to some evil landlord.
I’ve also decided not to re-buy in Aberdeen, partly due to the Northern Rock furor but also because Im trying to scale down my outgoings and mortgages and other such things aren’t particularly compliant with that.
