Over the last month or so Ive been crafting a plan to ask Rachel to marry me, so last weekend my plan came to its fruition as I surprised Rachel with a weekend in Paris and asked her to marry me overlooking Paris from the Sacre Coeur, and Im very pleased to say that she said YES! We had a great time in Paris, it was Rachel’s first time in Paris and even France so we had great fun going round seeing the sites, attempting to speak french, eating food, taking the metro and doing some shopping.
I posted a set of photos from the trip up on Flickr you can see them here.
So we are now in wedding planning mode (almost anyway) as we intend to get married before the end of the year.
Seeing as most of my family and a good few of our friends are all over the UK and the World I thought it would be fun to track the progress and give out some info in the form of a website, so I set it up and managed to buy www.liamandrachel.com which will take you to http://racheland.liambyrnes.co.uk
It has a static front page so its not like a normal blog but you can get to the blog section through the "latest news" link.
