Ive been drowning under the weight of being busy at work, moving house, attempting my uni work and being ill for the last few days and have not been suceeding at any of them (yes, Im even not good at being ill), so I would appreciate your prayers.

Other than that I’m looking forward to getting my house handed over and moving into to Aberdeen.

Prof. Alister McGrath has moved from Oxford to Kings College London

A Great piece in the Times on Savoj Zizek (right) who is the envogue philospher of date, and a very interesting guy.

This is a good cartoon on how to spot a Christian blog just by looking at the stats!

Interesting piece of photojournalism on Boeings new Dreamliner..looks cool.

A New John Mayer film coming up, release set for 01/07/08. Can’t wait to see this, I’ve watched Any Given Thursday probably 100 times. John Mayer wrote a very telling piece on self conciousness on his blog recently which is also worth a read.

Trevin Wax gave NT Wright a superb interview with bookmarks to the places you might want to jump to.

A good quote from Timothy Keller on why the gospel evokes confidence and humilty all in one.

The UK are getting a new set of coins, interesting design and a word from the designer on Brett jordans Blog.

Aberdeen’s John Swinton is going to be speaking at Oxford on Wisdom and Healthcare, he is pretty much an oracle on the subject and an idiosyncratic communicator which always makes things interesting.

Maggi Dawn throws up an interesting question about culture and scripture.

I’m reading Jamie with great interest as he blogs his church planting adventure and the merging of anabaptist and franciscan traditions.

Lifehacker recommends haggling for your next purchase, which I can heartily endorse, for an hour or so for the weekend in Paris I convinced Rachel to come to a the famous rare books market at brancion where I got a brilliant 1950’s book on art and design down from 45 Euros to a mere 10! I love bargaining it can be great fun, and the reality is, they’ll never sell it to you for any cost that truly hurts them. Warning, probably best not to try haggling at your local supermarket.

2 of the greatest things are Mac’s and Google Docs, and this brings them together, if you use both of these (and you should) mount a Gdocs drive!

John Piper gives out some parenting advice, The Ten Commandments are not central in Christian parenting. The gospel is.

Scot McKnight is beginning an interesting walk through "How Africa shaped the Christian Mind" which should is worth following.

Brandon O’Brien writes a great piece about what the masculinity movement gets right, and what it gets wrong.
